Open “House” – Open Field

Bluffwood Creek
announces the all new

Bluffwood Creek Apiary

On Saturday August 30, we invite our customers and friends on-site, between 2pm & 4pm, to visit us and our honeybees in their new home.
We recently bought 22 acres of farmland as a home for the honeybees, and you're invited to celebrate with us!

Saturday August 30, 2008
2pm - 4pm

RSVP is required

Please note that there are live beehives on the property and you must assume responsibility for any risks.

Short tours (including looking inside a beehive) will be offered. To view a beehive up close, we recommend long pants, and a light colored heavy cotton long sleeved shirt. Appropriate clothes include shoes and socks because poison ivy is present. The front part of the property is mowed grass and woods; the rest of the property is currently under corn. Insect repellant may be required. All entry on the property is at your own risk.

Please note that there are no buildings on-site and no bathroom facilities are available.
Children are welcome but must stay under your control at all times.

We'll be sharing our vision of the future of our land. We plan to have some snacks available for you.
And, of course, we'll have wonderful honey for sale.
